Debtor’s Education Course is required to complete your bankruptcy.

If you do not complete the Debtor’s Education Course and obtain a Pre-Discharge Education certificate your bankruptcy discharge may be denied by the court.


Debtor’s Education Course is required for your bankruptcy discharge.

In order to complete your Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy filing and receive a discharge, you must:

  1. Complete a Debtor’s Education Course AND
  2. Obtain a Pre-Discharge Education certificate

You may contact one of the agencies below to complete the course and obtain your certificate. The agency fee and payment methods accepted are available on the agency website or by calling their toll-free number.
