Betty Cabell Brogan grew up in Roanoke, Virginia and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from The College of William & Mary in May 2005. She graduated in May 2008 from the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond, where she served on the editorial staff of the Journal of Law & Public Interest.
