Mark is a shareholder and Chief Counsel of the Boleman Law Firm and practices in the firm’s Richmond, Hampton, and Virginia Beach offices. Mark has been selected four times by his fellow Virginia attorneys as a member of Virginia’s “Legal Elite” in the bankruptcy practice category in state-wide polls conducted by Virginia Business magazine. He is a native of Virginia, he earned his B.S. degree from Eastern Mennonite College in Harrisonburg, VA, and his J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law in Pittsburgh, PA.
Mark is a member of the Virginia State Bar, he is a frequent author and lecturer on bankruptcy law, and he is the Editor for the Bankruptcy Law News, a statewide bankruptcy periodical published by the Virginia State Bar’s Bankruptcy Section. Mark has served as a panelist at NACTT annual conferences in 2006, 2009, and 2010. Mark is proud to be an alumni of the NACTT’s Advanced Consumer Bankruptcy Practice Institute and a member of the NACTT Academy for Consumer Bankruptcy Education. He is frequently a featured speaker and author on bankruptcy matters for Virginia CLE programs, he is a co-author of “Bankruptcy Practice in Virginia”, a Virginia CLE Publication, and he has served on both the Local Rules Committee of the Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and on the Richmond Bankruptcy Court’s Liaison Committee.
